Born in Havana, Cuba and raised in Houston, Texas, Rey Laurencio’s passion for justice was sparked early by advocating for his non-English speaking parents by interpreting, making calls, and managing important documents as he grew up in the United States. This formative experience ignited his lifelong drive to protect and empower others through the legal system.
Rey focuses his practice on personal injury law, where he is known for maximizing client compensation and securing favorable rulings in court. His legal experience includes client intake, drafting and filing lawsuits, motion practice, engaging in discovery, taking depositions, and preparing for and trying cases to verdict as first chair. He takes pride in being both persistent and detail oriented, always pushing toward the best possible outcomes for his clients.
Rey earned his Associate of Arts from Lone Star College-CyFair, his Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Texas at Austin, and his Juris Doctorate from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas and in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
Outside of the courtroom, Rey enjoys outdoor activities including lap swimming, trips to the lake and beach, and floating the river. He is fluent in Spanish and brings a culturally sensitive approach to client representation.
