Although I am a retired physician and not an attorney, I was very favorably impressed by Matthew Obermeier who was very kind to meet me on two separate occasions to review my case and even give me a second opinion on the work done by another attorney. Upon my preparing to write a check for his time, he elegantly declined any payment. My previous attorney charged me for 9 hours of research on a single matter of eviction. He spent 20 minutes telling me what took the other 9 hrs.
The most unethical and inept "atty" ever. He refused to write / file a brief, except for a no jury trial when I specifically asked for a jury since the then plaintiffs had absolutely no case against me and had committed every type of perjury on the books, even according to the DoJ. Every real atty who has reviewed the case said he was an "idiot" because my case was a no brainer, because the then plaintiffs had absolutely no case. Obermeier told me he "really, really, likes their atty" and that he was with her the night before trial, may be why his pregnant wife at the time divorced him. He had no idea what he was doing in court. DO NO BELIEVE THE 5 STAR REVIEWS, HE HAS THE ONE STAR REVIEWS REMOVED, AND REPLACED WITH 5 STAR REVIEWS. HE HAS NUMEROUS LEGAL MALPRACTICE LAWSUITS AGAINST HIM AS WELL. Check out the RIP OFF report on him. DO NOT HIRE HIM OR HIS LAW FIRM OLIVA, SAKS, GARCIA & CURIEL.
