Marissa Giovenco is a San Antonio criminal defense lawyer and Senior Trial Attorney at Michael & Associates Criminal Defense Attorneys with more than 14 years of criminal law experience. During her more than decade-long prosecutorial career, Ms. Giovenco served nearly nine years as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney in Bexar County and more than two years as an Assistant County Attorney in Potter County. In these roles, she handled a wide range of misdemeanor and felony offenses and served as a lead trial attorney responsible for managing complex criminal cases through every stage of the legal process. Her experience evaluating evidence, preparing witnesses, conducting jury trials, and presenting cases in court provides valuable insight into how prosecutors develop strategies and pursue convictions.
In addition to her work as a prosecutor, Ms. Giovenco served in the Bexar County Magistrate's Office and worked with the U.S. Small Business Administration on federal disaster relief matters.
