If the judge appoints Lisa Duke as amicus, beg him/her to appoint someone else. She is terrible. She'll strong arm you in to things that you know aren't right and she'll lie to you to make it happen like "we can try it for a while and then try something else" and then that never happens. She doesn't listen to your kids. My oldest couldn't stand her. She lacks any semblance of compassion or empathy. She's a bully and just a nasty person in general. She is phoning this job in and collecting checks. If you read back through her reviews you can see the same story over and over. She has one parenting plan in her pocket and she applies it to every situation. She doesn't take the time to understand the uniqueness of your circumstances and lacks any form of creativity or problem solving skills. She's too big for her britches and just tells you what is best for you and your kids without caring about the input from them.
