Mr. Collins, Board Certified in Criminal Law and Juvenile Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, is the principal of the firm. He is the Treasurer of the Juvenile Law Section of the Texas Bar Association, a Member of the Texas Bar Foundation, and a Member of the San Antonio Bar Foundation. He is a former federal law clerk and state prosecutor. He is the past President of South Texas Mensa and current member of both South Texas Mensa and American Mensa. He holds the highest rating awarded to lawyers from prestigious Martindale Hubbell, an “AV,” and has also been awarded the highest rating under the AVVO system, a 10.0. The “AV” rating is only bestowed on lawyers of preeminent legal ability based on confidential information received from judges and fellow attorneys. Mr. Collins has been recognized with the prestigious Super Lawyers accreditation by Thomson Reuters & Company for the years of 2009-2016, and since 2012 has been selected to the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Texas by the National Trial Lawyers Association.
