Joe A. Gamez is a dedicated attorney with a strong commitment to justice, stemming from his experiences growing up in a segregated San Antonio. Witnessing the struggles of his friends and family within a flawed legal system, he pledged to make a difference. With a background as a Texas state representative and a leader in his community, Mr. Gamez has built a career centered on advocating for those in need. He pursued higher education against discouragement, earning degrees from San Antonio College, the University of Texas at Austin, and St. Mary’s University School of Law.
Initially serving at the Brooks County Attorney's Office, he transitioned to private practice, where he developed a personal injury focus after a car accident affected his family. This experience deepened his understanding of the challenges clients face when dealing with insurance claims. Mr. Gamez emphasizes the importance of compassion in his work, stating, “We care about our clients.” He is recognized by Super Lawyers and has been inducted into the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Active in various professional associations, he continues to support future legal professionals through scholarship contributions to Lanier High School and St. Mary’s Law School.
