She was my court appointed lawyer and due to lack of communication and for me being stubborn I thought of terminating her and felt she wasn't doing enough but at the end she fought for me and stood up and refused to let the state of Texas convince the judge I had priors and was fighting a serious case and was looking at 10 but she fought and stood her ground and was given 8 years probation she might not seem to friendly and will cut you off mid sentence but she did an outstanding job representing me ..I would highly recommend her she is the best....thank you so much
Joanne Eackle is a racist condescending lawyer that will destroy your evidence before you even enter a plea. According to her, Supreme Court Cases don't count in Texas and any thing you mention will be shot down to fit her agenda to make you comply. She also will yell and you and belittle you if you even try to express your opinion. Which violates the First Amendment of Freedom of Speech and 14th Amendment Due Process. She should be locked up for violations of destruction of property, violating Civil Rights of Accused and destroying evidence that may exonerate you.
Does not talk to her clients. Goes into court believing anything cps has told her without ever speaking to or seeing the children. When they do call her and voice their concerns, she dismisses their concerns. Doesn't advocate for safety or well being of the children in cps case just sits there and only answers of the judge when directly asked her questions. Very, very disappointed in her representation on youth in foster care.
