James built a robust legal foundation through hands-on experience in both state and federal criminal defense, spending formative years with the Far West Texas Regional Public Defender’s Office and the Federal Public Defenders for the Northern District of Texas. Before joining BRCK Defense Attorneys, James further solidified his courtroom expertise as a Public Defender for the Atascosa Area Advocates, zealously representing clients across juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony charges within the 81st and 218th Judicial Districts.
