Taylor C. Hartley is a seasoned criminal defense attorney with over a decade of experience, having successfully managed nearly 3,000 cases covering a range of charges, including traffic violations, drug offenses, rape, and murder. His legal career began as a judicial law clerk in Utah's Fourth District Court, and he has since been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. A former professor at Utah Valley University, Mr. Hartley has taught courses in “International Law” and “Introduction to American Law” and is a published author on the ethics of criminal defense. In 2007, he founded a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with a rare skin disorder and served as its Chief Legal Officer and president for eight years. His interests include writing on legal, political, and religious topics, as well as teaching the method of loci, an ancient memory technique. An Eagle Scout and Black Belt in Okinawan Shorin Ryu karate, Mr. Hartley also spent time as a missionary in Seoul, South Korea. He finds fulfillment in his roles as a husband and father.
