Skordas, Caston & Hyde, LLC is a law firm with an office in Salt Lake City, UT. At this office location, there are 3 lawyers practicing criminal defense, felonies, homicides and 12 other areas of law.
It was extremely difficult to get any type of response back concerning a question. Also, I paid a large sum of money for retainer on the assumption that my case would go all the way to court. I was told that if the case was settled in less time that I would receive a refund for the difference. The case was settled quickly but I never saw a penny. I could have received the same services from someone else for a lot less money.
My court case was over a month ago. He never helped reduce my charges and didn't properly defend me so now I have to go to jail. He never listened to me, never returned my calls. I felt that he wrongly judged me, and treated me as a criminal. I payed him a lot of money (several thousands) up front for nothing. I would have been better off with a court appointed attorney. His ego stands in his way of his ability to practice law. In all of my meetings with him, he had lectured me, rather than help
Would not listen to what I had to say. Wanted me to accept a plea bargain where i would plead guilty to two felonies and spend one year in classes and pee tests. I was not guilty of anything and he would not listen. After I FIRED him I went to the county attorney to find out what I had done and in the course of a ten minute conversation the county attorney said he would file the paper work to have the charges dropped. Great job Greg.
