He’s handling a debt collections case I have been paying on for a few years now, and he has consistently been very rude to me and became quite defensive and threatened to continue with a court date when I asked him for a written statement about an agreement we made about a payment arrangement (which the point of the agreement was to prevent the court date which wound up happening anyway without me being notified because he mailed me a letter of notification to a residence I no longer lived at, after I had already provided him with my new address. I only found out about the court date months later when I was looking into something else and found it online, he never mentioned anything to me). He’s neglected to send me a statement of what I owe him despite me asking him to do so multiple times. I never expect a debt collector to be happy and nice, but to at least respect me and follow through with agreements made.
