Ms. Heather J Chesnut

In 2017 I got myself into a lot of trouble, and since I don't have much money Heather took my case as a Public Defender. I found her to be professional, astute, and compassionate in her handling of my case. Because of her perceptiveness, she recognized in my mannerisms what she thought might be autism. After ordering an extensive battery of psychological tests her suspicion was proven correct. Due to learning that I'm on the autism spectrum, I've been able to get appropriate help from councillors and have learned a lot about myself and what factors the autism may have contributed to the behaviors which led to my offending. We lost my case, but Heather immediately set me up with a colleague to handle an appeal. Her faith in my essential goodness and life-altering contribution to my self-knowledge has had a profoundly positive result in my life. I have nothing but praise for Heather Chesnut.

Her partner didn’t even wait until court started. He just left knowing what was going on with his client. They should either be hardcore reprimanded or disbarred

She’s a fraud, lazy and awful human being and should be ashamed of herself. She is like every other public attorney who doesn’t uphold her responsibility to the United States public. People like her are what’s wrong with the world.

Conspired with the district attorney and successfully put HER CLIENT in jail because they think poor people, immigrants, and people of color are low quality just ask her when she thinks no one is around. UTAG SEAN D. REYES needs to investigate all his cases. SHE IS A CRIMINAL. She spits on the US Constitution. I suggest all who were wronged by her, file a class action against her personally and the Salt Lake City Legal Aid. Lets put her, Nathanael Swift, Katherine Bernards-Goodman, and Daniel Torrence in prison. Sue for them for their pensions so they are not rewarded for their career of abusing criminal justice system. Its funded by the taxpayers and that money should be used instead.
