I walked in for a free 30 minute consultation and definitely got more than that. Attorney Laswell made sure that I understood everything and was very thorough in her explanation of how the divorce process would go. She made me feel comfortable and not as scared to move forward with my divorce. The StateLine team is very friendly and quick to respond back with answers or advice.

After seeing the negative reviews, I have to say that my experience was the complete opposite. My case was handled in a professional matter and I received the outcome that I should. The staff and attorney were honest and very timely.

Alcoholic, mean, angry animal abuser. Leaves dogs alone for weeks, starved them, no vaccines, house full of feces and urine. Sick and scared to death of the dark, seperation anxiety. I'd rather defend myself than hire a drunken animal abuser.

DO NOT HIRE HER! She is all about your money she is a drag your feet result in the pocket book and your bank account she is always late and does not have the proper paper work for the court. I heard promises from her and no result for over a year and a 1/2. I fired her in court and got my divorce done in 3 weeks.

Horrible. Absolutely Horrible! I retained this lawyer in mid February 2018 to draft a motion and deliver to court system to reduce child support. This was based on Ex's change in pay and to remove a graduating son in June of 2018. As of early June 2018 (3months), no actionable progress has been completed. I would email and call, only to have delays and excuses. First the assistant was in hospital, then the lawyer was in the hospital. No call backs from my phone calls, no emails returned.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
