Attorney Jean Porcello-Giusto brings over two decades of legal ingenuity and advocacy to her practice in Salem, Massachusetts, predominantly focusing on domestic relations and family law. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Boston, where she earned a B.A. in English and Political Science, Jean later received her Juris Doctor from the Massachusetts School of Law in 1993. She began her career as an Essex County Bar Advocate, representing criminal defendants and juveniles in complex cases. Her current practice encompasses a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child support, custody, paternity, and prenuptial agreements.
Jean is a distinguished advocate, having argued before the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and notably representing the plaintiff in one of Essex County’s first same-sex divorce cases in 2009. As President of the Salem Bar Association and a member of the Executive Board of Directors for the Essex County Bar Association, Jean plays a leadership role in the legal community. She also serves as a Board Member and Corporator for Salem Five Bank and is actively involved with the North Shore Women Lawyers Association, underscoring her commitment to professional and community service.
