Hired Attorney Donald A. Gilbert

My two brothers and we have been clients of Don Gilbert and Lawyers Building for over 14 years against our township in all blight ordinance violations with citations! The first case was in 2010, and we won because of our attorney, Don Gilbert, and they presented a non-case! The one we have been on this time started back in February of 2023 with a blight case but they gave us miscellaneous junk and debris citations and two court-ordered inspections. Now they are trying to force us to pay their attorney bills but Gilbert and I are fighting that against a township that has become more of an attack on us and make an example of us to others!

They were very straight-forward, easy to get a hold of(would return calls within 12 hours). Available and ready to help us understand what was going on, especially in court, and they helped us win our case against the township when they kept changing the rules or ordinances to suit their reading enforcement. I was told that I did most if not all of the research that they used in the case. When we went before the judge.

Mr. Gilbert prepared my trust. I was very impressed how efficient he was. After 3 appointments in 3 weeks, I went from having no estate plan to a funded trust. I contacted several attorneys, and Mr. Gilbert was the only one who included trust funding as part of his services. All the others were just going to give me the trust and make me do the funding. Mr. Gilbert and his paralegal were very professional. Whenever I called, I was able to get my questions answered.
