Hired Attorney Kristine Cummings

Had the displeasure of working with her during a divorce case. Nasty woman. Passive aggressive. Uses assumptions, rather than facts, to bolster weak arguments. Too afraid to go to trial. Don’t recommend.

Hired Attorney Kristine Cummings

I was involved in a legal matter with Kristine Cummings during my divorce. My main concern arose from the actions of my ex-spouse's trustee, Jon Lydell, whom I felt acted unfairly and disrespectfully after I initiated the divorce due to infidelity. Unfortunately, Kristine made false accusations of harassment against me, which only complicated things further. As a result, I had to distance myself from Emily for a period of time. Initially, my ex-spouse and I had agreed to an amicable divorce, where she expressed that she didn’t want alimony, my retirement, or my pension. However, Jon Lydell, as her trustee, negotiated with Kristine Cummings throughout the process and pushed for a portion of my retirement, which I felt was unnecessary and unfair. This added significant strain and ultimately destroyed the possibility of maintaining a friendship with my ex-spouse.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
