Ms. Ebert earned her B.A. from California State University, Fresno in 2006 and her J.D. from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2011. During law school, she made the Dean’s List and was the American Bar Association Representative for McGeorge. She also interned for the Institute for Administrative Justice (IAJ) where she represented parolees through Revocation Hearings as part of the California Parole Advocacy Program (CalPAP). After law school, Ms. Ebert worked as a Staff Attorney managing the second largest office in Chino, California for CalPAP and continued to represent parolees. In 2013, Ms. Ebert returned to Sacramento to IAJ and began working as a Hearing Officer for Administration Hearings and as a Jury Consultant at Focused Decisions, a full service litigation consulting firm.
Over the last 5 years at Focused Decisions, Ms. Ebert has consulted on many high profile civil cases for plaintiffs and defendants. She provided services to clients nation wide on cases covering many areas of law including, wrongful death, personal injury, excessive force, and contract disputes. A few of the services she provided included full-scale mock juries, jury research, jury selection, presentation creation, theme and theory development and trial support. It was the work at Focused Decisions that uncovered Ms. Ebert’s desire to represent injured victims. She applies the skills and insights gained watching juries interpret cases, deliberate and reach decisions in her practice and case preparation at Demas Law Group, P.C.
For fun, Ms. Ebert enjoys traveling abroad and throughout the U.S. (favorite destinations include Tonga, Iceland and Cape Cod) watching live theater (favorite show to date, Sleep No More) and hiking anywhere in California.
