Attorney John R. John was a Captain in the United States Air Force, serving from June of 1969 through April of 1974. John completed a tour of duty in Vietnam from June 1970 to June 1971 and was awarded an Air Medal with four oak leaf clusters and the Distinguished Flying Cross.
