As an advocate for employees and civil rights plaintiffs, Mr. Chang litigates cases involving sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, and he also prosecutes hate-violence matters under the Ralph Civil Rights Act. His work has been recognized with repeated honors from California Super Lawyers, Lawyers of Distinction, and AVVO Client’s Choice. Mr. Chang is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a nationally respected organization with membership limited to attorneys who have achieved million-dollar results and representing less than 1% of the profession. Before opening his own firm, he spent more than two decades in public service, including more than 15 years as a sworn peace officer. He also served for more than a decade with the U.S. Attorney’s Law Enforcement Task Force. Mr. Chang earned his Juris Doctor from Concord Law School and holds a B.A. from the University of California, Davis, and a Master’s in Criminal Justice from Boston University. He is admitted in all California courts, the U.S. District Courts across California, and the Ninth and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal, and he has served in leadership with the California Employment Lawyers Association’s Public Employee Committee.
