We wanted to express our sincere appreciation for the work and support provided to us by Brian Geremia at the Hackard Law group. We retained these attorneys due to a volatile conflict regarding an inheritance based on an established trust. A cousin that had been named as executor of the final estate attempted to take the proceeds of the entire estate for himself instead of abiding by the trust parameters which stipulated that everything remaining should be divided five ways. We encountered some challenges during a real estate transaction that required us to address one of the owners on title having passed away without having title held in a trust. This required a small estate probate process that was pretty complex. There were 9 owners and the 1/9th share that needed to go through probate had 2 surviving heirs. Brian Geremia and Mike Hackard stepped in and knew exactly what to do. They were professional, responsive, effective and utilized their resources to get everything we needed executed and filed with the court (In a different city), expedited the valuation of the estate with a probate referee and delivered the executed documents to escrow so we could successfully close escrow. Less than 2 months. I have been in the real estate industry for 22 years, am a real estate broker and owner. Without the help of Hackard Law (Brian Geremia and Mike Hackard) I can confidently say this deal would have gone sideways.
