The other lawyer wanted to settle for less time and acted like he was on the opposing side (maybe small town buddy system situation). Lori won the case and was great answering all his questions along the way. She was kind and fought hard for the children to have both parents in their lives for an equal amount of time. I would go with Lori every single time without hesitation.
She has been hired as a Guardian Ad Litem in my sisters custody case. My nephew is non verbal autistic. She is not and has not been advocating for my nephew, she has been advocating for the sperm donor who left in the middle of the night and has not asked about my nephew for 6 months until a protection order was granted. She has now started calling my nephew by the wrong last name, knowing what his legal name is and now she is trying to change my nephews therapy. She has instructed my sister to email the sperm donor several times, know there is a current protection order in place and has a copy of it. She needs to lose her license and be fired.
Lori Gibson Willard is your worst choice for any type of legal representation. She is biased, unprofessional, unethical and literally has no clue how to be a real GAL or attorney. We went from paying her a 3k retainer upfront, to almost 10k in charges that she racked up randomly and still didn't get any real work done. Lori made and left the our custody case in a huge mess. Just as all the other reviews have said about her. She is exactly who all of her past clients say she is a scam artist. She will over charge you ($250+ an hour) and ($25 per email reply) on top of her hourly rate just to read your emails another $25 to get a response. She will disappear from your case for weeks or months as a time, leaving important matters at hand to just fall thru the cracks. She will send condescending emails mocking you if you tell her to stop all services. She is also know for making Continuations at her convenience and racking up more charges $$ on her behalf, just to suck your monies dry.
