Ms. Brown spent her formative years growing up in New Hampshire. She proudly served a four year tour of duty in the United States Navy. After graduating from college, she taught junior high school English in Jackson, Mississippi. She then relocated to Albany, NY, and while raising her family there, became an entrepreneur, starting several small businesses to help support her family. She graduated from Albany Law School in 1996, after completing her final year at the University of Texas Law School in Austin. Ms. Brown then founded this firm in 1997, with an initial focus on family law. She is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Less than 1% of all Texas attorneys are Board Certified in Family Law. She has handled hundreds and hundreds of challenging family law cases since 1997. She understands the Travis and Williamson counties and knows the judges who will decide our clients cases. More importantly, they know and respect her.
Having gone through a divorce, and raising 2 children as a single mother, Ms. Brown founded the firm based on a simple principle: genuine empathy for men and women seeking help, and treating clients as she would wish to be treated. She focuses on understanding each client's individual needs, and has the unique ability to distill complex emotional and legal situations into their essence, and communicating to her clients in a way that her clients feel a great sense of comfort and relief.
