I had to get legal help for a divorce i was going through. I didn't think I stood a chance. Ms. Hightower's legal assistant called me to tell me to come in and pick up some papers. The phone call lasted less than two minutes. They called ME - I was charged $40.00 for the call. Seems a little nasty to me, especially since my case was bankruptcy and they knew how little money I had.
Seems like just out to make a buck and over her head with cases. Poor communication when came to letting her client know what consequences where of pleading one way or another. And completely ghosted her client after court. Your better of getting someone from out of town.
Highly unprepared for what should have been a basic custody hearing. Did not ask basic questions that would highly influence the outcome in favor of her client. Simply put no effort and charged a very high retainer, $10,000.00 for pathetic services. Will charge you for her paralegal to lick a stamp. Absolutely will not work on your behalf.
