Our legal team has more than 70 years of experience handling estate planning, trust administration, probate and a broad array of elder law matters. After obtaining a thorough understanding of your income, assets and goals, we will design a customized plan to help you preserve those assets and plan for potential long-term care needs. We can assist you with obtaining Medi-Cal and VA benefits, if needed, and will work to ensure that your assets will ultimately be distributed according to your wishes with minimal estate tax. Founding attorney James Cunningham is certified by the State Bar of California as a Specialist in Estate Planning and Trust and Probate Law. What a wonderful form to work with! Their estate planning attorneys are top notch and extremely knowledgeable. They do Living Trusts, and can also administer trusts. Such lovely staff that answer the phone and really take the time to listen.

Worst law firn. Not responsive via email or phone. They do not respond to your emails. They do not return calls They lag and do not finish. No one in office - calls forwarded to offices or call center. If you have something that needs to get done, they can’t or won’t finish. They get your retainer and leave you hanging dry. How long should it take for an attorney to answer an email? Seven days and counting - still no response. Even a follow up email has not received a response. They make their money by you missing your deadline and then ‘do more work’ and charge you more. Really don’t know why they don’t return correspondences. Will need to report the firm to the State Bar.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.

• Notable: This rating indicates that the lawyer has been recognized by a large number of their peers for strong ethical standards.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
