John Patitucci was born and raised in Kings Park. His father was an electrician for IBEW Local 3 and his mother was a teacher/librarian at Kings Park High School and St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School. Just like his father, John commuted every weekday on the Long Island Rail Road to attend Chaminade High School in Mineola. John excelled at Chaminade and earned academic scholarships from Local 3 and Providence College in Rhode Island. John graduated cum laude from Providence College in 2007 and obtained a degree in Political Science. After college, he returned to New York and attended Brooklyn Law School, where he also graduated cum laude. John was admitted to the New York Bar in 2017. He is also licensed to practice in Massachusetts and the United State District Courts for the Eastern District of New York.
John has been practicing in the area of Social Security Disability law for nearly 7 years and is a member of the New York State Bar Association. Throughout his professional career, John has shown his dedication to serving those underprivileged in our community by volunteering at Nassau Suffolk Law Services and Greater Boston Legal Services. John was awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the Suffolk County Pro Bono Foundation, Nassau Suffolk Law Services, and Suffolk County Bar Association for his contribution of time, efforts, expertise and exemplary service to the Suffolk Pro Bono Project.
John enjoys biking, working out, and traveling. He also enjoys following New York sports teams, especially the New York Yankees.
