Attorney Spiller is a knowledgable and compassionate defender of children. His expertise as defender of children rights prevented my family from being destroyed. He will always be my hero.

I have to agree with the last review that he is unprofessional and a bully. I do not know how he was years ago, but he is now senile and blinded by his ego. He gives his spiel without listening or getting to truly know his client, although he demands to meet you in person. He does not read all the paperwork and forgets key details about my case. He has a CYA mentality and is more interested in saving face than acting for the interests of the client.

This attorney’s involvement caused years of unnecessary trauma for my child and me. I was completely alienated from my daughter when she turned 14 and did not see her for more than three years. I was a good, capable mother with a stable home, a good job, and no issues with drugs or alcohol. I never harmed my child. Her father sexually molested her for over 3 years, during this alienation period that Mr. Spiller permitted. Mr. Spiller had given the father, whom I had a domestic restraining order against, complete custody of my teenage daughter. As assigned minor’s counsel, he billed us every time we returned to court, and I believe the conflict was allowed to continue rather than being resolved. Mr. Spiller knew I would never give up on my child, and that I would continue to return to court to fight for her. I felt trapped in a system that rewarded chaos. A complete degenerate. Lies out of both sides of his mouth. A fee generating sleezebag. It's tough enough enough for fanilies to go throuh divorce. This man and his greed wil try to take anything that is leftover. Make sure you question his bill as he will bill you for fifteen minutes for something that took him 15 seconds. Take him to mandatory fee arbitration.

Never allow this lawyer to close the door on a room with no one else in there. If you have The misfortune of dealing with this lawyer always bring a witness. Meet in a public place. Do not allow your children to be left alone with this man.

Unprofessional. Does not care about the child that he's assigned to. Chooses sides based on flirting. Lies about his credentials, lies about his knowledge. Does not communicate. Behaves like a bully. Behaves as if he is knowledgeable about subjects he then acts ignorant about. Cares about himself first. Has a misguided ego too large for his own good. Does not have the ability to distinguish between what's best for him and what's best for his clients. Makes zero effort to do the job he's assigned and paid to do he's lazy, he's incompetent and he masks this behind a bombastic and oversized ego that has no business pretending to be a lawyer. He is dishonest, and will lie to any audience if it means covering his own butt. This person should not be allowed to practice law.
