Please do not trust her to do her job and lose hundreds of thousands of dollars like I did. Eden is a very terrible lawyer because she is not reliable and trustworthy. She told me she filed my QDRO after my divorce, but she didn't answer my emails or phone calls months after months after months. Finally eight months later I went to court and found she never submited the QDRO, when I asked her she didn't have any explanation. Due to her ignorance and failure as my lawyer, I lost hundred of thousands of dollars that I should have had if she submitted on time (and not changed the language of the papers that went against judges orders) and went through so much pain. She took the responsibility and money but could not follow through. If she had told me at the beginning, that she would not be able to or have the time to do this part, I would have happily found someone else. Instead she ignored the most important part of my divorce process to make my life and divorce even harder.

Currently deployed overseas, her contact was given to me as a referral. She appeared to be a great person during our virtual consultation, however, the nightmare's begins after I paid her. Before paying her, she responded to me within a day or 2. After paying her, it took over a week or no response to questions. Up until now, she hasn't finalized my document I paid $750 for it and I haven't heard from her for over a week after she sent me a draft copy to review. Originally, she told me she would draft her own because the document I gave her doesn't meet Maryland standards, however, the draft that she sent me was a modified copy of the document I initially gave her. Similar to other's review, she ignored my communications each time I reached out and so far haven't heard from her. It's like I don't even exist to her anymore since she already took my money without her service being completely rendered. It's like a money grab or quantity of clients over the quality of her service.

Hate to post a long review, but I want to help other people avoid the terrible experience I had with this lawyer. When I hired Eden, I had high hopes for the future. But she turned out to be a nightmare. After I paid her retainer fee, Eden became cold and distant. She repeatedly missed deadlines set by the Court or deadlines that she negotiated with opposing counsel. As a result, the other side filed a motion for sanctions, and I was placed at risk of being punished by the Court because of my lawyer’s negligence. Then Eden tried to convince me to take the blame so that the Court would not know that she was too busy working on other cases to meet the deadlines in my case. Additionally, Eden allowed weeks to go by before responding to emails I sent her to ask for an update or advice. Even worse, Eden FAILED to obtain a single document or interrogatory response from the other side. She also pocketed the retainer without providing an invoice to show what work she did. Horribly incompetent.
