John B. Flood is a skilled trial attorney with extensive experience in labor and employment law, business litigation, and restrictive covenant disputes. As the founder of Flood Law LLC, he is committed to delivering strategic, results-driven representation. Before establishing his firm, John served as a U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate (JAG) officer, attaining the rank of Major, and later became a Shareholder at a national labor and employment law firm. His approach to law reflects the values of excellence, teamwork, and service that he developed during his military career. John has represented clients in more than 60 jury and bench trials, as well as numerous arbitrations and hearings. His litigation skills have earned national recognition by Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America. Beyond litigation, he advises employers on workplace matters, emphasizing proactive strategies to mitigate risks and prevent costly disputes.
John holds a B.S. from Oklahoma Christian University, a J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law, and an LL.M. from Georgetown Law. He resides in Rockville with his wife and son and is the founder of U.S.–Japan Baseball, a nonprofit dedicated to fostering international youth engagement through sports.
