I can't give higher praise to Ellen. I was recently in court and the judge clearly respected her more than any other attorney in the room (4 others). Ellen is incredibly knowledgeable, aggressive, advocate for her client and EXTREMELY organized. Diligent in preparation; gives outline on what to expect given facts of case. My friend used other lawyer in town for double the price and half the quality. Ellen is a must for excellent representation.
Ellen has been my attorney for 14 years. She did everything from custody to child support. Back then, all I did was cry (sorry, Ellen!). Ellen fought hard for me, even when I was ready to give in. Year after year, Ellen was there. It got to the point where her continued presence dismayed my opponent. If you want a lawyer to hug you - that's not Ellen. If you want someone who will win for you efficiently for a fair price - HIRE Ellen, do your part, take her advice, and you won't regret it.
Ellen is a truly knowledgeable and experienced lawyer that was always prepared and aware of relevant case law, and could make an excellent argument on our behalf. Ms. Lee handled my divorce a few years ago and I remembered how she was thorough in her diligence and also made me feel like a valued individual. So when I had a child support & custody case, I reengaged Ms. Lee. Again, she treated me as a person, not a case. She advised me on the merits and realities of my case, so I didn't feel as if I were being "sold" a bag of services. Ellen is eloquent and personable, which is a winning combination for an attorney.
Many issues but worst and completely undeniable is no invoices or accounting of time for my case since services retained May 8, 2024 and $20,000 retainer fee paid. It is now August 16, 2024. Repeated requests ignored and is filing to terminate her services based on blatantly false accusations provided in letter accompanying termination documents to be filed that contain significant errors and omissions. More issues but I believe this information is sufficient for this review and rating.
