Avery & Upton Attorney at Law is a law firm established in 1993 with an office in Rockville, MD. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing family law & divorce overview, divorce, division of marital property and 22 other areas of law.
I was using the legal aid resource and being charged $45 per hr. Mr. Avery told me that his usual fees were $300 pr hr. I feel that because my fee was only $45, I must have received the $45 service and expertise rather than what one would expect for a $300 pr hr fee. Why does a lawyer participate in these plans if they don't intend to put forth their full effort?
Prudence mediated My divorce, And it was the worst experience ever. I felt like she was more of an Attorney for the plaintiff instead of a bipartisan liaison. I felt very upset during the mediation mostly because of the way prudence was treating me. She made the mediation more contentious because of her instigating tone. I’m not sure if Prudence naturally prefers the male side of things , But as a woman, I felt she had a chip on her shoulder.
