Albert Altamore

Very concerned about client

Although Attorney Altamore is a very good lawyer and has been quite helpful, his fees are quite high and I don't always feel that my messages get to him. I don't know if he doesn't receive them or if he chooses not to respond.

I email him and never heard back from him until we had court. First time you meet for the free consultation Albert will meet with you yet, will then pass you on to another associate in the firm. I did have a easy case and am i first time offender for DUI who didn't blow nor was driving but $1,500.00 is the cost this firm charged. I was helping someone who went with Chris Humphry for DUI which was a harder case than mine & that person got a better deal at a cheaper price of $1,200.00

Albert is a bully. If you are not guilty, DO NOT go to his firm! In the year that I have worked with Chris Solger, my simple case has turned into a legal nightmare. Chris cannot communicate well. He gets angry if he has to explain legal things. He refuses to respond to questions and texts. He called me 'worse than murderers' in May when his staff mistreated me and I tried to stand up for myself. Chris dropped me for that staff error and had to recant in court. He consistently threatens to do that again when I inquire as to why he refuses to answer my questions or look at MY evidence. Chris is incapable of relating to innocent clients. Chris used Albert to deliver the final act of aggression towards me when I returned to the office for my file. I even called ahead to let them know that is all I needed.

This attorney has a pattern of taking money from clients and then not doing any work. I have talked with several people who had to hire a different attorney to finish their case. They all lost several thousand dollars to this attorney. I share in the opinion that he is a crook.

Would compare him to a expensive public defender. Double check everything they do and say and ask for copy's of your documents.

I was very dissatisfied with his office. I called to get a consultation, wanting to hire someone from the Rockford area. His secretary took all my information and said he would be contacting me. Not having heard from him in a day, I called back and his secretary reassured me that he would be contacting me prior to the initial court date. Well, 3 days before the court date I hired another attorney since I hadn't yet heard from him or his office. My court date has come and gone, still no call.
