Our firm was founded in 1933. We provide a wide range of legal services to both businesses and individuals, but we individually concentrate in particular areas of law. Five of us are certified specialists. One of us is certified as a Family Law Trial Advocate. Four of our active partners were named as "Leading Attorneys" in a statewide survey of Minnesota attorneys conducted by the publisher of Guidebooks to Law & Leading Attorneys (1997/1998); a distinction accorded to fewer than 6% of practicing Minnesota attorneys.

Jill Frieders has my highest recommendation. If you are going through a divorce, you definitely need Ms. Frieders. She has been a true professional throughout my divorce, even when the opposing attorney was not. She helped me properly navigate the mine-field of divorce that I wish upon no one. Ms. Frieders was extremely clear and straight forward. She was always well prepared and brilliantly argued my case in court. She was very clear in explaining the various steps going through this seemingly never ending process. Most importantly she helped me maintain my sanity in dealing with an ever-growing bitter, angry, and hostile ex-wife. If you are looking for well-rounded, driven, and meticulous legal assistance, Jill is your person! You definitely want Jill on your side. Ms Frieders and her legal team have been amazing! I've been involved in a complicated and lengthy unexpected custody battle, which has included numerous court hearings, evidentury trial, and his appeal, etc. Ms. Frieders is personable, extremely knowledgeable, and quick to respond to my questions and the other Atty's communications. She tries to keep costs down. Her legal team has been so helpful and are also knowledgeable and easy to get along with. I'm very satisfied with her representation!

Great lawyer with unbelievable knowledge in her field. She helped me with a divorce and custody dispute. She spoke her mind and pulled no punches while communicating with me, glad I have thick skin. She was always up to date on my case and knew what was happening and that gave me a sense of relief to know that she was looking out for my interests. Overall costs were kept low. When we would meet it was all business and no sidetrack talking. Wonderful person!! Thanks

Jill was recommended by a co-worker of my father. My case was bizarre and had many large issues that needed to be dealt with in court. Jill demonstrated an amazing amount of knowledge about every little detail of family law and how it related to my case. She also had the ability to be very honest and straight forward with her ideas on how to proceed in a positive way. If any of my friends or family were going through a tough divorce, I would not hesitate to recommend Ms. Frieders!
