Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer. This disgusting man does not know what he's doing. He should not be allowed to practice law in the courts of Minnesota or anywhere else. He cost me the guardianship to my grandson. The courts took my grandson because of this bigot. He was supposed to represent me and did absolutely nothing during that process. He subpoenaed no witnesses as I asked him to. He subpoenaed no professionals to testify as I asked him to. He wrote no court documents as I ask him to. The one court document that he did file was written by me. I might as well have been without representation. I have found a legal complaint against him.
He should not be practicing, he doesn't help anyone.. or listen to what we have to say... He SHOULD NOT be a Public Defender or involved with Family Law Horrible how he treats people. DISRESPECTFUL.
This pettifogger "represents" me in a Civil Commitment case and a Guardianship case. Refused to inform me of the actual law and when he did speak about it lied or was grossly ignorant of it. Did not prepare for any of the hearings and refused to allow me to prepare for the hearings by supplying me with court and medical documents, allowing me to subpoena evidence and witnesses, or find reasonable expert testimony. He put in just enough effort to say he "represented" me and then refused to do anything at all beyond talking in the actual hearings. All documents he submitted to the court were written by me (and worse they were intended to plan for the cases with him and not meant to be submitted to a judge). When I filed motions on my own behalf without him he still refused to do anything including giving advice on case law or things a lawyer should do and I literally represented myself while he sat there doing nothing. This guy should not be practicing law.
Mr. Suhler provided no defense for special needs individual as he was appointed by court to represent her. Individual asked to meet with him. He showed no concern, but was arrogant and non-professional in the court room interrupting the court proceedings by taking phone calls and leaving. He made no attempt to contact this individual, but suppressed all communication she wished to convey to the court. A complaint will be filed with the State. He violated this individual's right to speak.
