Mr. Hale said that my son's custody case "may" cost as much as $9,000. He had my son do all the leg work acquiring records that Lance never used. When we showed up for pretrial meeting, "on the clock," we asked if guardian adlitem would be in court & he spent 15 minutes telling us what guardian adlitems do. He shuffled through our paper work as if he was not familiar with our case & talked to us like we were idiots. My son got shared custody & Lance charged over $13,000. He made me understand why.people hate lawyers.
Lance Hale was hired by me in 2019. Lance worked on a personal injury case for me until 2021. Lance Hale quit and gave his resignation on my case 90 days before we were due to file in court. This has resulted in me loosing vital time that I will never get back. I won’t be able to file my case now because no lawyer will have time to go over the mounds of evidence that was collected for 2 years. I’m only left with a scar that I will have for life and the lose of my lawsuit. FYI Lance Hale sited the reason for his quitting my lawsuit was a conflict of interest because my son and ex husband owed Lance money then he could t represent me. Again he worked on my case for almost 2 years and dropped me right before he (Lance hale) was to file my lawsuit.
The staff of this firm is unprofessional, delinquent in duties, no one is ever in the office. When you come to your appointments the attorney, nor the secretary, nor para-legal are prepared causing duplicate meetings and duplicate Billings, the office is dirty and unorganized if I wasn’t legal bound to contract I would fire them but, they are the attorneys so I’m guessing that legal duties would be performed like nobody’s business if I fired them just not in the actual case I sought professional representation for.
I payed this attorney $3,200 over four years ago represent me in a civil filing and he has done nothing in that time to make a court date happen. Now he claims that he doesn’t owe me back my retainer because of all the times he called me in to do his court running for him, instead of him pulling records for this case. My advise is avoid this guy and find an attorney who is not likely to take your money and run. He is rude and hard to get along with. He yells and talks down to clients. I regret ever having come into contact with Mr. Hale.
