Hired Attorney

I’ve been a client of Marty’s since July 2022. I have to say, I have the utmost respect for him as an attorney and as a person. My case is/was difficult for most attorneys to understand because it is specialized (real estate), and happened during Covid when nothing was “normal.” Marty did understand the entire case within 5 minutes on the phone, where as many attorneys I consulted with would be sidetracked on minutia. While Marty was very busy and admitted he was going into trial the same month, he referred me to other attorneys. I was desperate because none of the attorneys I found or those recommended understood the immediacy or essential facts of the case. Ultimately, Marty represented me, and I am so thankful. He is an un-compromised and thoughtful attorney who cares about his client and doesn’t pass the work onto other associates. He’s a great communicator and will never tell you want you want to hear, instead tells you what you need to hear. He’s one of a kind.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.

• Notable: This rating indicates that the lawyer has been recognized by a large number of their peers for strong ethical standards.
