Before attending Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California, Eric Rice completed his undergraduate studies at California State University, Fullerton, where he majored in Sociology, graduated Cum Laude, and was inducted into the Sociological Honors Society. His academic work focused on the sociological aspects of the family and on questions of crime and punishment, providing a strong foundation for his later legal career. After law school he developed a practice concentrated in family law, representing clients in divorce, custody, support, and related matters with a balance of legal acumen and personal sensitivity. Eric is admitted to practice in California state courts and in the United States Central District Court of California, and he is an active member of the California State Bar Family Law Section and the Orange County Bar Association. He draws on his sociological training to assess family dynamics, anticipate practical consequences, and craft strategies that reflect each client's priorities.
