Craig M. Marshall joined Thompson and Colegate LLP as a partner in 2014. Craig's practice involves estate planning, probate and trust administration, conservatorships, and litigation matters for individuals and families. He advises and assists clients in their personal estate plans with an emphasis on business succession planning for owners of family businesses. Additionally, Craig's practice includes general counsel work for privately owned businesses. He has provided counsel and transactional legal representation to various types of businesses from start-ups to well established going concerns. Further, Craig has represented numerous physicians, medical groups, independent physician associations, and hospitals in the negotiation and drafting of various types of provider agreements and other healthcare arrangements.
Before joining Thompson and Colegate, Craig was a partner in the Riverside office of Best Best & Krieger LLP, having worked there for over fourteen years. In 1999, he graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. He also received his Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University School of Business and Management in 1998. While in law school, Craig participated in Pepperdine's dispute resolution program and earned the Straus Institute Certificate in Dispute Resolution.
Craig is a native of Riverside. He attended the University of California at Riverside where he played for and was captain of the school's basketball team. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in Political Science and Administrative Studies. Craig resides in Riverside and enjoys golf and spending time with his family.
