Hired Attorney Donald Hensel

Don Hensel has been a valued friend of mine through two contentious divorces. While crusty on the outside, he is truly empathetic and goes out of his way to help his clients far beyond purely legal advice. He wants to help you get through the burden you face. He does a great business and therefore does not attempt to build up his billable hours on your case. He is scrupulously honest and fair both in his dealings with his clients and with opposing counsel.

Hired Attorney Donald Hensel

Don very skillfully guided me through a difficult divorce. Unlike so many other attorneys, he was not trying to rack up court time or delay the case. He has plenty of work and truly has your financial interests at heart. I never felt that he was nickel and diming me or trying to prolong the legal case. In fact, to the contrary, he frequently counseled me to drop an issue that I had with my wife since it was not worth arguing about - the amount of money was trifling compared to what court cost wo

Hired Attorney Donald Hensel

Working with this attorney began with hope that he could win my case as he seemed knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. I signed a contract 3/15/2018 explaining the defendant had cancer, but by 3/2023, the case was still not settled, the defendant died in January 2020, and Hensel did not file a creditor's claim by the defendant's probate deadline rendering my case closed leaving tens of thousands of dollars at stake.

Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
