About Adam Kocaj

Adam Kocaj is an Associate Attorney for the Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates. Raised in Tory, Michigan, Kocaj attended Michigan State University (MSU) both as an undergrad and as a law student. After earning his degree in Business Law, he went on to pursue his Juris Doctor (JD). As a first year, Kocaj was awarded the jurisprudence award in his Legal Research, Writing and Advocacy (RWA) class. The jurisprudence award is granted to the student who receives the top grade in the course. As a result, he was hired as the graduate assistant to the professor for the RWA course for the following year. Kocaj was also on the board of the MSU College of Law’s Journal of Business and Securities Law. Aside from his academics, he worked in the legal aid tax clinic on campus that represented indigent and ESL (English as a Second Language) people against the IRS. At the end of his JD program, Kocaj graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Kocaj is currently licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan and California. With a focused specialty in personal injury law, he has a passion for fighting for the underrepresented and advocating for those who need it most. With sincere compassion for the victims and their families, he is relentless in the pursuit of justice on behalf of his clients. Kocaj is currently a member of the of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA).
