I was charged $4,000 to close on my house and it was a standard transaction with standard interaction. I was never informed the cost would be $4000, and could not find another real estate professional to state that price was fair and reasonable. When I questioned the amount Al justified it to a false claim (excessive work and communications on the closing). I can prove that is incorrect and demonstrate how I actually worked to simplify his work. I was simply taken advantage of, so be careful.
