Born in Brooklyn, New York, Attorney Cohan received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in 1972. He received his Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School in 1975 and was admitted to the Connecticut Bar the same year. He immediately began practicing real estate law and has been doing so in Ridgefield ever since. Attorney Cohan is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and lives in Ridgefield with his wife Judy and their daughters Katie and Megan.
