Much of Mr. Nagle's time is devoted to counseling employers with respect to personnel policies
practices, in an effort to ensure awareness of
compliance with applicable employment laws, in order to avoid the disruption, expense
uncertainty of litigation. To that end, he assists employers in developing
implementing employee h
books, employment contracts, restrictive covenants,
arbitration programs,
provides management training. His clients include employers in both the private
public sectors, including one of the world's largest airlines, a prominent national retail chain, financial institutions, publishers, manufacturers, local government
trade associations. Mr. Nagle has taught classes on employment law at the University of Richmond Management Institute
the Medical College of Virginia School of Health Administration,
has given approximately 300 presentations around the country to a wide range of professional, trade, civic
academic audiences. He was the editor of the Virginia Employment Law Letter (2003-2006), has published several articles on employment topics,
authored a weekly column on employment law topics in the Richmond Times-Dispatch for several years. He is on the American Arbitration Association's Panel of Arbitrators for employment cases, has served on the Executive Council of the Labor Relations
Employment Law section of the Virginia Bar Association,
is active in the Equal Employment Opportunity
Employee Rights & Responsibilities Committees of the ABA's Labor
