Hired Attorney Robert Withington

I paid Mr. Withington to collect from a client who received their insurance check, but were not paying us (the contractor). In the middle of the case he stopped answering phone calls, didn't return calls, the voice mail was full and then a message that another attorney would be handling his cases temporarily. I sent a letter asking to return my files and a partial refund, since he never took care of the matter for which he received additional payment. That was 10/2009

Hired Attorney Robert Withington

I paid him $375 for collection of monies owed for rehab of a home after a fire. I paid him an additional $250 for collection of monies owed for supplemental work. When I did not hear from him after 1 month I tried calling and left no less than 5 messages, to no avail. The next time I called the voice mail was full and then the number was disconnected. I wrote a letter and received no response. Not only did he take my money, but he also has all my documentation.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
