Philip Wellner's journey as an attorney began in the bustling legal environment of New York City, where he honed his skills at prestigious firms such as Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP and Friedman Kaplan Seiler & Adelman LLP. During this time, Phil represented both businesses and individuals across diverse civil litigation matters, from breach of contract and real estate to antitrust and professional malpractice. Additionally, his practice extended to defending clients in various criminal investigations and prosecutions, notably in fraud, drug, and weapons cases, with appearances in both federal and state courts throughout New York. He also argued important appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division. In 2012, Phil launched Wellner and Associates PLLC in Hudson, New York, expanding his practice to encompass matrimonial, business, employment, real estate, and estate planning.
