Lee took the time to understand the complexity of my case at the consult via video conference. The entire engagement he helped me through the difficult process and eventually won. No legal case is a guarantee but the lawyer that you hire makes all the difference. The challenge of helping clients when no one seems to want to help makes Lee Berlik better in my opinion than many others in his field of practice.

Very rarely does any judge sustain a demurrer. A demurrer says a complaint is not grounded in law and should be dismissed outright. In this case, unable to handle getting dumped by his ex, Plaintiff - Mr. Atchuthan Sriskandarajah (an attorney himself) - filed a defamation complaint against his ex & two other parties. The complaint was rather stupid and had very little substance. Mr. Lee Berlik represented the Defendants and absolutely crushed the Plaintiff. In fact, during discovery, when the Plaintiff realized that the case was backfiring on him, it was hilarious to see the Plaintiff cave in so quickly from his original request of $2.5 million down to 10,000 dollars. In the end, Plaintiff did not get even a penny & his case didn't make it past the demurrer. Plaintiff even tried going to the supreme court but the supreme court did not even want to listen to such a stupid complaint. Lee is the best defamation attorney & knows the law inside out. I would highly recommend Lee!

This was my first litigation experience and I'm so thankful I hired Lee. From initial consultation to being awarded damages, it was truly a seamless end-to-end process with Lee. He's diligent about keeping you looped in around all communications with other parties, exploring all routes and hypotheticals prior to decision making, and is the perfect balance of ensuring your comfortability with all actions taken, all while providing the best legal advice always in your favor. Not only is it evident he's extremely knowledgeable and an expert in the field of law, he's an incredibly warm and personable person, making the entire process much less potentially taxing or draining. I am overly delighted with my damages awarded. Lee is worth every single penny and I will 10/10 recommend him to family and friends.

He may not always tell you what you want to hear, but he'll always tell you the truth with transparency and kindness -- and his advice is grounded in solid legal expertise. A consult with Lee -- for his cool head and clear, logical perspective alone -- is worth every penny, and was a solid value; he even graciously offered to recommend other attorneys to me if I needed to go in a different direction. He responds nearly immediately to communication and is patient and thorough when explaining legal language and proceedings. If you're on the fence, hire him -- I can't recommend him highly enough.

I emailed Lee a question regarding defamation law at around 9pm and had a thoughtful and honest responses in my inbox before I woke-up the next morning! Incredibly fast turn-around time. {para}I was hoping for a different answer, but Lee explained his evaluation to me very clearly and ultimately convinced me that it wasn't worth pursuing. A less honest attorney could have made the case sound more favorable than it really was to secure a new client. Highly recommend Lee.
