Hired Attorney John T. Winkler II

John handled all the aspects of a pretty complicated divorce in a calm and professional manner including Alimony, Child Support and the division of assets. I always felt comfortable that he represented my interests and the interests of the children with other parties. He also wasn't afraid to provide a balanced perspective on the many options laid out before me. I would recommend John for work in Northern Virginia.

Hired Attorney Carolyn M. Abbate

Recognizing my desire for a harmonious post-divorce relationship, Carolyn Abbate helped smooth out issues that could have become points of contention. Ms. Abbate also sped things up enormously, guiding me in providing her with relevant information, feeding back documents for review and promptly passing them on, which had the added benefit of encouraging my wife’s attorney to match her pace. The outcome was a swift, amicable resolution that allowed family relationships to heal.

Worked closely with Carole Rubin for my mother's divorce and was impressed by her strong execution and legal advice (for reference I spend a lot of time with counsels and related legal documents). She was empathetic of our situation, had a high sense of urgency and was very balanced in her approach but equally strong when she needed to be. Highly recommend as a lawyer and friend.

Divorce is a difficult process. Carole Rubin focuses on the detailed work and helps push aside issues that will not help your case. This can be difficult to understand at first but she helped close a process with a VERY difficult opposing counsel directly and professionally.
