Practicing divorce and family law in Washington State

In 2001, Laurie relocated to the Seattle area, drawn by the Pacific Northwest’s natural beauty and proximity to family. She was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2002. Over the years, Laurie has held prominent positions at various firms throughout the Puget Sound, where she exclusively practiced family law for well over 20 years now.

A trained pro tem judge and mediator, Laurie possesses the expertise and resources to handle all types of Washington divorce and family law cases, no matter how complex. Her practice encompasses divorce, custody disputes, adoption, child support, paternity cases, prenuptial agreements, and more. She has represented clients in King, Pierce, Kitsap, Thurston, and Snohomish counties, successfully navigating high-conflict custody battles and intricate asset divisions.

Laurie is deeply attuned to the emotional challenges her clients face, even in straightforward cases. She is dedicated to providing compassionate support while pursuing the best outcomes for her clients.

Outside of practicing law

Outside of her legal practice, Laurie enjoys spending time with her husband and son, gardening, hiking, and baking. She and her husband actively support Hope Worldwide through fundraising and community events. Laurie also gives back to the legal community by volunteering as a mediator with the Pierce County Center for Dispute Resolution.

Laurie G. Robertson is your trusted advocate for family law matters, blending her legal skills with empathy and a relentless pursuit of justice.

Hired Attorney

I hired Laurie to help settle my divorce in a fair and respectful way. It was a long process and an emotional rollercoaster ride. The more I was glad to have her represent my side. She has all the experience, knows what is reasonable, and her advice is 100% on the mark. Early on, I told her that I would always go with her recommendations even if I thought otherwise. Looking back, now that my divorce is settled, I am super glad I always did. When you are in emotional turmoil, you will not be able to make sound decisions without the help of a trustworthy counselor. I highly recommend hiring Laurie and following her advice if you find yourself in need of a divorce attorney. Laurie is awesome! You’ll be in very good hands.

Hired Attorney

I can’t stress enough how strongly I believe in Laurie and how well she knows the law. She has been doing this for a VERY long time, and if you could have heard how she performed in the court room you could be nothing less than amazed.

Hired Attorney

After Laurie and her team made a terrible mess from my simple divorce case, all while billing me for every useless email she sent to me several times daily “notifying” me “of the progress” on her own accord, I ended up hiring a different lawyer to clean up the disaster these crooks created. My ex was ready to file an uncontested divorce that kept us both happy prior to Laurie’s “assistance”. The only reason I hired Laurie was due to my deployment. Little did I know how corrupt this lawyer was.
