Attorney Todd Torvinen was referred to me by another Reno attorney because Todd is both a CPA and an Atty. Todd responded to my initial call in 1 day; and on Christmas Eve at that! He listened, gave advice freely over the phone and clearly understood the purpose of my call and how to solve the issues I called about. Very knowledgable
I hired Mr. Todd Torvinen 2022-2023 to acquire funds of $57,000 owed to me from the defendant in a simple lawsuit. I even had in writing from the defendant that she would pay me if I went to court. I also presented to him evidence that she possibly had the funds to satisfy the claim. I have known the defendant for 20 years. When Mr. Torvinen contacted the defendant's lawyer he was told that his client had no funds. I asked Mr. Torvinen to acquire a credit report to see if she had the funds or was hiding them. He spent months doing nothing. He didn't do the one single task of getting the report that could satisfy my claim. He kept saying to me he wanted to get rid of my lawsuit, like it was a nuisance to him. After he dismissed the lawsuit His reply to me was flippant and dismissive. He said "Life is short".
