Hired Attorney

Thomas O'Gara is currently my court appointed lawyer. I was approved to attend court via zoom at first court appearance because I live out of state. When I showed up via zoom Thomas proceeded to "testify" against me and said I was told I had to attend in person and he doesn't know why I am not there! I have a letter and email from his office that makes no mention of me needing to attend in person or that anything has changed. I also set an appointed before the court date to speak with O'Gara that he canceled. Now I am in contempt I think (not clear, he doesn't talk to me). No communication, no legal advice has been given ever. I can't believe he has a job.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
