Norma Allred Guariglia is a Nevada-licensed attorney specializing in bankruptcy law, representing debtors, creditors, trustees, and examiners in chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13. She also assists clients with debtor-creditor disputes, business matters, divorce, and estate planning. Norma earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 1999. Recognized for her exceptional performance on the CPA exam, she was honored by the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants.
While working full-time as a paralegal for Harris Law Practice LLC, Norma attended Mitchell Hamline School of Law, graduating summa cum laude in 2022 in the top 5% of her class. During law school, she served on the Mitchell Hamline Law Review and received awards for excellence in Contracts and Bankruptcy. She now teaches bankruptcy law as an adjunct professor at Mitchell Hamline.
With nearly 30 years of experience as a paralegal, accountant, and bookkeeper, Norma brings a unique perspective to her practice, simplifying complex legal issues for her clients. Originally from Costa Rica, she has lived in Washoe County for 30 years. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and binge-watching shows.
